It supports high flow rate, low pressure drop and cleanable structure, comparable with API SIGMA and Alfa Laval plate‑and‑shell products.Shell‑and‑tube is available as a low‑cost alternative, yet bulky and lower heat‑transfer efficiency. PCHE is not recommended for large‑flow primary CDU cooling due to higher pressure drop. PFHE is limited to gas‑side heat transfer only.
